Playboi Carti was arrested in Georgia for allegedly choking his pregnant girlfriend following an argument over a paternity check.
Based on the arrest affidavit, obtained by TMZ, the lady advised police the rapper grabbed her by her throat and pushed her, holding her neck till she may barely breathe. She even advised cops she thought she was going to die.
Police say the lady advised officers she’s been in a relationship with Playboi Carti for two years, has lived with him since July 2022 and was 14 weeks pregnant on the time of the alleged incident on Dec. 20.
The lady advised cops she wished to speak to Playboi Carti concerning the child and a dialog a couple of paternity check led to an argument, which she claims escalated to a bodily assault. She advised police a witness jumped in to attempt to break up the battle, and when she was capable of escape Carti’s grasp, she ran to her automobile … the place she claims he attacked her once more.
The alleged sufferer advised cops Carti tried pulling her out of the automobile and put his hand over her mouth as she tried to make use of the automobile’s SOS function to name police. When cops arrived, police say the lady had seen accidents to her neck, chest and again.
